A RELIGIOUS TRADITION

ON HOLY THURSDAY MY MOTHER WOULD TAKE US KIDS AND WE WOULD WALK
A PILGRIMAGE OF SEVEN CHURCHES IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. AT EACH CHURCH
WE WOULD STOP AND PRAY. THIS WAS DONE TO COMMEMORATE THE SEVEN
LAST WORDS OF CHRIST ON THE CROSS.
