JAPANESE MERMAID
JAPANESE BELIEVE IN THE EXISTENCE OF A SEA CREATURE THAT IS
HALF WOMAN AND HALF FISH. HER APPEARANCE IS SIMILAR TO THE
OCCIDENTAL MERMAID. UNLIKE OTHER SUPERNATURAL CREATURES, SHE IS
NOT MISCHIEVOUS OR A PRANKSTER.
