This man's mother (a Lithuanian) had a large book which had belonged to the family for generations. Originally, he first missionaries had made books for the new Christian people. These books contained many hymns and songs, through which the missionaries taught the central mysteries of the Christian faith. Before going to bed, the mother of the family would always sing the song of the Seven Sorrows and the Seven Joys of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
