Dried Apples

Slice apples into quarters.
Lay on top of barn or garage where sun rays will dry out.
Leave until all moisture is out.
Can be put in pie shells for apple pie or make fried pies.
Broken pieces of sassafras keep worms out if drying in old flour sacks.
