WITCH SHANAM

DURING THE 1920S IN POLAND, A WITCH WOULD WANDER IN THE
COW PASTURES IN THE EARLY HOURS OF THE MORNING (3 A.M.).
LATER ON IN THE DAY, WHEN THE FARMERS WOULD MILK THE COW
THE MILK WOULD BECOME SPOILED IN A MATTER OF HOURS.

Submitter comment: MY FATHER'S FRIEND SAW THIS WITCH IN THE EARLY HOURS OF
THE MORNING. HE GOT UP EARLY TO GO FISHING. WHEN HE
ASKED HER WHAT SHE WAS SPREADING ON THE COW PASTURES,
SHE SAID, "IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS." MY FATHER'S
FAMILY HAD THEIR MILK SPOILED ONE DAY AS A RESULT OF
THIS WITCH.
