STOPPING BLEEDING BY QUOTING BIBLE

SEVERAL YEARS AGO THERE WAS AN OLD WOMAN AROUND WHO CLAIMED SHE
COULD STOP BLEEDING BY REPEATING OVER AND OVER A VERSE OF
SCRIPTURE. I CAN'T REMEMBER NOW WHICH VERSE IT WAS. WHEN MY
BROTHER CUT AN ARTERY IN HIS LEG, NOBODY WENT TO THE DOCTOR
FOR THINGS LIKE THAT, THEN MY MOTHER TOOK HIM TO THIS WOMAN
AND SHE SAID THIS VERSE OVER AND OVER. HIS LEG DID STOP
BLEEDING, BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW EFFECTIVE SHE WAS. IT PROBABLY
JUST BLED ALL IT WAS GOING TO AND QUIT.
