BLASON POPULAIRE: THE 247 TEXANS

THERE'S ALWAYS THE ONE ABOUT THE FELLOW WHO WANTED TO LAND
HIS PIPER CUB AIRPLANE. HE CALLED THE TOWER AND ASKED FOR
EMERGENCY LANDING BECAUSE HE WAS CARRYING 247 TEXANS AND HE
WAS SHORT ON FUEL. THE GUY IN THE TOWER DIDN'T BELIEVE HIM
BUT HE GAVE THE OK FOR LANDING. THEN HE RAN OUT TO THE
RUNWAY TO TALK TO THE PILOT, BUT TO HIS SURPRISE THERE WAS
THE AIRPLANE UNLOADING 247 LITTLE PEOPLE. "WHAT HAPPENED?"
HE CRIED. "NOT MUCH," REPLIED THE PILOT, "JUST 247 TEXANS
WITH THE BULLSHIT TAKEN OUT OF THEM."
