SERVICES, SO A "DEVIL" WAS THERE TO WAKE THEM UP; HE WAS DRESSED
ALL IN BLACK. WHEN HER GRANDFATHER CAME TO AMERICA, THE FIRST THING
HE SAW UPON LEAVING THE SHIP WAS A BLACK MAN WHOM HE TOOK TO BE THE
DEVIL.
