TRADITIONAL RECIPE FOR GINGERBREAD
HALF-CUP OF SUGAR, HALF-CUP OF MOLASSES, ONE CUP OF SHORTENING,
TWO EGGS, ONE HEAPING TEASPOON OF SODA AND FLOUR. DO NOT MAKE
TOO STIFF. STIR THE SODA IN THE MOLASSES TILL IT FOAMS AND
BEAT THE EGGS AND SUGAR TOGETHER.
