TRADITIONAL RECIPE FOR BREAKFAST MUFFINS
TWO EGGS, WELL BEATEN WITH A CUP OF SUGAR AND A LUMP OF BUTTER
THE SIZE OF AN EGG (1/4 CUP). TO THIS ADD ONE PINT OF MILK
WITH A TEASPOON OF SODA, ONE QUART OF FLOUR, AND TWO TABLESPOONS
OF CREAM OF TARTAR. BAKE IN MUFFIN RINGS IN QUICK OVEN (400
DEGREES).
