POOL FULL OF SNAKES

IT IS TOLD IN LARAMIE, WYOMING THAT TWO YOUNG GIRLS
ON A HOT DAY STARTED LOOKING FOR A COOL PLACE TO
SWIM. SINCE THERE AREN'T A GREAT NUMBER OF POOLS
IN WYOMING, THEY DECIDED TO TRY A POND THEY FOUND.
PUTTING ON THEIR SUITS, THEY DECIDED THAT ONE OF
THEM WOULD TEST THE WATER OUT. SHE JUMPED IN AND
IMMEDIATELY FELT THE SENSATION OF PINS PRICKING HER
IN VARIOUS PLACES. THINKING SHE HAD RUN INTO SOME
UNDERWATER BARBED WIRE, SHE CALLED TO THE OTHER GIRL
NOT TO COME IN, AND THEN SHE STUMBLED TO THE BANK
WHERE SHE PASSED OUT AND DIED WITHIN MINUTES. THE
POND WAS A BREEDING PLACE FOR WATER MOCCASINS.
