THIS BELIEF IS LEFT OVER FROM W. W. I WHEN, IN THE
TRENCHES, SOLDIERS WOULD LEAVE A MATCH LIT LONG
ENOUGH TO LIGHT THREE CIGARETTES AND ITS LIGHT
WOULD ALLOW THE ENEMY TO GET A BEARING ON THEIR
POSITION AND OPEN FIRE ON THEM.
