THERE ARE ANY NUMBER OF WAYS TO DECIDE WHO ONE IS
GOING TO MARRY. PERHAPS THE MOST DEPENDABLE IS THE
APPLE PEEL TEST. ONE MERELY PARES AN APPLE, BEING
CAREFUL TO KEEP THE SKIN IN A CONTINUOUS STRIP.
THEN THROW THE PEEL OVER THE LEFT SHOULDER AND
OBSERVE THE SHAPE OF THE INITIAL IN WHICH THE PEEL
LANDS. THIS IS THE FIRST LETTER OF THE LAST NAME
OF ONE'S FUTURE HUSBAND. (THERE MAY BE A MALE
VERSION OF THIS BUT I DOUBT IT. WOMEN ARE GENERALLY
MORE INQUISITIVE THAN MEN. IT WOULD BE OF LITTLE
USE TO A MAN TO KNOW EVEN THE ENTIRE NAME OF HIS
FUTURE SPOUSE. HE IS APPARENTLY TRAPPED FROM THE
VERY START.)
