IN POLAND, WHEN A PIG IS SLAUGHTERED, THE GALLBLADDER
IS CUT OUT AND LARD IS STUFFED INSIDE WITH THE BILE,
THE GALLBLADDER STUFFED WITH LARD IS LEFT TO
FERMENT FOR SEVERAL DAYS, AFTER WHICH A SALVE IS
FORMED, WHICH IS GOOD FOR HEALING VARIOUS SKIN
DISORDERS, LIKE, INFECTIONS, CUTS, RASHES, ETC.
AMONG OTHER THINGS, THE PRODUCTION OF THE SALVE
WAS ONE OF THE THINGS DONE WITH VARIOUS ORGANS
OF THE PIG.
