The James T. Callow Folklore Archive
TO GET RID OF A WART ON A HAND FIRST FIND THE
OLDEST WART. PLACE A PIECE OF CLOTH AROUND THE WART AND
TIE THE CLOTH IN PLACE WITH A STRING. LEAVE IT LIKE THIS
FOR A WEEK WITHOUT CHANGING THE CLOTH. AT THE END OF
A WEEK REMOVE THE CLOTH AND THE WART WILL PEEL OFF.
