WHEN WE WERE YOUNG, OUR PARENTS TOOK MY BROTHER AND ME
OUT TO MY UNCLE MATT'S HOUSE. IN THE EVENING, WE WENT
TO BED IN MY UNCLE MATT'S BED. ABOVE THE HEADBOARD
WAS A LARGE CRUCIFIX. MY BROTHER WAS SOUND ASLEEP, AND
SUDDENLY, I JUST LET OUT A YELL. EVERYONE CAME RUNNING
TO TH ROOM. I SAID THE CRUCIFIX WAS MOVING ON THE
WALL FROM SIDE TO SIDE. IT WAS MOVING LIKE A PENDULUM.
LIKE SOMEONE WAS SWINGING IT. I SHRUGGED IT OFF AS
'PARENTS KNOW BETTER.' BUT AT THE SAME TIME, I WAS
GIVING THIS EXPLANATION, THE FRONT DOOR OF THE HOUSE
BLEW OPEN. NOW THERE WASN'T EVEN A BREEZE OUTSIDE.
THERE WAS NO WIND VELOCITY.
A FEW HOURS LATER, WE LEFT FOR HOME. WHEN WE ARRIVED
WE FOUND A TELEGRAM SAYING MY GRANDMOTHER HAD PASSED
AWAY AT EXACTLY THE SAME TIME THAT THE CRUCIFIX HAD
MOVED AND THE DOOR HAD BLOWN OPEN IN MY UNCLE'S HOUSE.
