SPRUCE BEER RECIPE
TAKE ONE HALF PINT OF SPRUCE ESSENCE AND 5 OUNCES OF PIMENTO
AND GINGER, 1 AND ONE HALF POUND OF HOPS, 3 GALLONS OF WATER.
BOIL 10 MINUTES, THEN ADD 12 POUNDS OF MOIST SUGAR, AND 11
GALLONS OF WARM WATER, MIX, AND WHILE MIXTURE IS LUKEWARM ADD 1
PINT OF YEAST. AFTER 24 HOURS OF FERMENTATION, BOTTLE.
