WHO STOLE THE COOKIES?

WHO STOLE THE COOKIES FROM THE COOK-COOKIE JAR
(FILL IN NAME) STOLE THE COOKIES FROM THE COOK-COOKIE JAR
WHO ME? (ASKS THE ACCUSED) YES YOU. COULDN'T BE ME. THEN WHO?
(ACCUSED NAMES ANOTHER'S NAME) STOLE THE COOKIES FROM THE COOK-COOKIE
JAR (THE WHOLE FORMULA IS REPEATED INDEFINITELY. EACH TIME A NEW
PERSON'S NAME IS FILLED IN.)

Submitter comment: THIS IS OUR FAVORITE FAMILY NONSENSE DIALOGUE. IT IS SAID BY AT
LEAST TWO PEOPLE BUT THE MORE THE MERRIER. WE SAY IT WHENEVER
SOMEONE APPEARS EATING THE COOKIE BUT WE SAY IT LOTS OF TIME WHEN
NO ONE HAS ANY COOKIES, JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT.
