LEGEND OF THE WINDEGOE
A LARGE BIRD CALLED THE WINDEGOE WITH SPIRIT-LIKE QUALITIES
OFTEN CAME OUT OF THE SWAMP AND THREATENED OR ATE PEOPLE OF
THAT AREA (EAGLE LAKE, MICHIGAN). IT COULD NOT BE CAUGHT OR SHOT
BECAUSE THIS WAS IMPOSSIBLE.
