JUNE DAY IS AN ANNUAL EVENT IN THE COMMUNITY OF
ROSEDALE PARK, DETROIT, MICHIGAN. FOR TWENTY-EIGHT
YEARS NOW THE DAY HAS BEGUN WITH A PARADE. ALL
CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN THE COMMUNITY ARE WELCOME TO
PARTICIPATE. PRIZES ARE GIVEN OUT. THE PARADE IS
FOLLOWED BY RELAYS FOR THE CHILDREN AND A BASEBALL
GAME FOR THE MEN. IN THE MEANTIME, THE NON-PARTICIPANTS
CAN WANDER FROM VARIOUS BOOTHS SUCH AS FISHING, RING
THROWING, ETC. REFRESHMENTS ARE AVAILABLE ALL DAY.
SUPPER IS SERVED IN THE EVENING. THE DAY IS CLIMAXED
BY A DANCE FOR THE TEENAGERS.
