IT IS CUSTOMARY THAT BEFORE A MAN GETS MARRIED, HIS
FRIENDS GET TOGETHER AND HAVE A CELEBRATION MARKING
THE END OF THE GROOM'S BACHELORHOOD. USUALLY SOME
GIFTS ARE GIVEN TO THE GROOM AND THERE IS MUCH
MERRIMENT. BUT, THE PARTY IS RESTRICTED ONLY TO THE
GROOM'S MALE FRIENDS. THIS EVENT IS COMMONLY KNOWN
AS THE "BACHELOR'S PARTY."

Submitter comment: INFORMANT KNOWS OF THESE THINGS BECAUSE HE HAS TWO
OLDER BROTHERS WHO ARE NOW MARRIED AND WHO DID
HAVE BACHELOR PARTIES.
