A LEBANESE CUSTOM

WHENEVER A MALE MEMBER OF THE FAMILY WANTS TO GET MARRIED,
HE HAS TO PROVIDE THE FIRST COOKING UTENCIL FOR HIS

HE IS WATCHED BY MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY AND OTHERS TO
MAKE SURE HE ACCOMPLISHES THIS BY HIMSELF.

WITH THE INFORMANT. THIS CUSTOM WAS A PARTICULAR
