My grandmother learned this recipe from her brothers. They
claim to have "invented" it while they were hiding in the
woods of Poland to avoid being drafted by the Russian Army.
Duck's Blood Soup: Mix duck's blood, vinegar, water, prunes,
raisins, and whatever else you can find into a pot and boil
all day.
