Rock-a-Bye-Baby
Rock-a-bye-baby, on the tree top,
When the wind blows the cradle will rock;
When the bough breaks the cradle will fall
Down will come baby, cradle and all.
Submitter comment:
Informant says that she learned this as a child from
her mother. It is sung to a small child (baby) at
bedtime to get the child to sleep.
