AN ANCIENT ZULU BURIAL RITUAL IS TO BREAK ALL OF THE BONES
IN THE DECEASED'S BODY TO INSURE THAT THE BODY RESTS PROPERLY
IN THE GRAVE. IT WAS ALSO BELIEVED THAT THIS PRACTICE WOULD
STOP THE BODY FROM DECOMPOSING, PROVIDED THAT THE CORPSE WAS
NEVER DISTURBED WHILE IN THE GRAVE.
