JUMP ROPE CHANT
NOT LAST NIGHT BUT THE NIGHT BEFORE.
TWENTY-FOUR ROBBERS CAME KNOCKIN AT MY DOOR.
AS I RAN OUT, THEY RAN IN.
I HIT EM ON THE HEAD WITH A ROLLING PIN.
I ASKED EM WHAT THEY WANTED - THIS IS WHAT THEY SAID;
"SPANISH DANCERS TURN AROUND.
SPANISH DANCERS TOUCH THE GROUND.
SPANISH DANCERS DO HIGH KICKS.
SPANISH DANCERS DO THE SPLITS."
Submitter comment:
I REMEMBERED LEARNING THIS WHEN MY COUSIN AND I USED
TO JUMP ROPE TOGETHER.
