SORGHUM MOLASSES COOKIES
INGREDIENTS:
5 CUPS OF SORGHUM MOLASSES
1 CUP OF BUTTERMILK
1/4 CUP OF BAKING SODA
3/4 CUP OF LARD
1 TEASPOON OF CINNAMON
5 POUNDS OF FLOUR
DIRECTIONS:
HEAT MOLASSES AND LARD UNTIL MELTED, LET COOL. MIX IN THE REST
OF THE INGREDIENTS. LET STAND FOR 36 HOURS. ROLL THIN AND CUT
WITH COOKIE CUTTERS. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWN.
