URBAN BELIEF TALE--BUGS IN CANDY BARS

WHAN I WAS IN GRADE SCHOOL, MY ENGLISH TEACHER WENT TO GET A
CANDY BAR OUT OF THE MACHINES ON HER STUDY HOUR. SHE CHOSE A
REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER CUP AND UNWRAPPED IT. SUDDENLY WE ALL
HEARD A SCREAM FROM THE HALL. MY TEACHER HAD BITTEN INTO THE
CHOCOLATE ONLY TO TASTE SOMETHING FOUL. THERE WERE TONS OF
WHITE MAGGOTS ALL OVER THE CANDY. MY TEACHER WENT HOME SICK.

Submitter comment: A WEEK AFTER THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED, MY TEACHER RECEIVED TWO
FREE CASES OF CANDY FROM HERSHEY'S WITH A LONG APOLOGY.
SHE GAVE EVERY BAR OF CANDY AWAY AND REFUSES TO EAT IT EVER AGAIN.
