INGREDIENTS: ONE CUP BUCKWHEAT GRITS, ONE EGG, TWO CUPS
BOILING WATER, TWO TABLESPOONS BUTTER, ONE TEASPOON SALT.
MIX THE GRITS AND EGG TOGETHER WELL AND SLOWLY COOK THEM
AND CONTINUALLY STIR. PUT IN THE REST OF THE INGREDIENTS,
COVER, AND COOK OVER A LOW FLAME FOR FIFTEEN TO TWENTY
MINUTES. WHEN DONE, MAKE SURE THE GRITS ARE DRY.
