RESPECT IS A VERY STRONG WORD AMONG YORUBA TRIBE IN
NIGERIA. A PERSON SHOULD RESPECT SOMEONE WHO IS OLDER
THAN HIM OR HER. FOR AN EXAMPLE IT IS AN INSULT FOR A JUNIOR
PERSON TO CALL SOMEONE WHO IS OLDER THAN HIM/HER BY NAME.
THUS, IT IS VERY COMMON TO BE HEARING "MRS...." OR "MR...."
"YES SIR", AND "YES MA" ALL OVER THE PLACE.
