IN PERRYVILLE, MISSOURI, WHERE MS. BOW'S RELATIVES LIVED, ALL
SOULS DAY WAS CELEBRATED IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER. PEOPLE WENT TO
THE CEMETERY AND DECORATED GRAVES OF THEIR LOVED ONES WITH
FLOWERS AND PICTURES OF THE DEAD RELATIVES. THE EARLIEST
GRAVESTONE IN THE CEMETERY WAS DATED 1804.
