The James T. Callow Folklore Archive
IN THE IRISH CULTURE, AFTER A PERSON DIES, THE SAME NIGHT

EVERYONE DANCES AND DRINKS AND HAS A GOOD TIME. EACH PERSON BRINGS
SOME FOOD SO THAT THE WIDOW WILL NOT HAVE TO COOK.
