LEGEND

A FAMILY BY THE NAME OF GORMEN LIVED IN BUCKINGHAM, QUEBEC
(CANADA) ABOUT 35-50 YEARS AGO. THEY ALSO OWNED A FARM
HOME IN THE COUNTRY A LITTLE WAYS FROM TOWN. MR. GORMEN
WAS ILL AND MRS. GORMEN AND HER SON DECIDED TO RIDE OUT
AND SEE THEIR FARM. WHEN THEY ROUNDED THE CURVE AND SAW
THEIR HOME IT WAS LIT UP LIKE A FIRE WAS INSIDE. WHEN
THEY WENT INTO THE HOUSE, THE LIGHTS WENT OUT. THEY
SEARCHED THE HOUSE BUT FOUND NOTHING SUSPICIOUS. THEY
LEFT FOR TOWN, BUT AS SOON AS THEY GOT BACK IN THEIR CAR,
THE HOUSE LIT UP AGAIN. THREE OR FOUR MONTHS AFTER THIS
MR. GORMEN DIED. IT HAD BEEN A SIGN OF DEATH.

Submitter comment: INFORMANT CLAIMS THIS TO BE TRUE. SHE WAS INVITED TO GO
FOR THIS RIDE, BUT COULD NOT FOR SOME FORGOTTEN REASON.
