The James T. Callow Folklore Archive
IT WAS AN ARMENIAN CUSTOM THAT WHEN A CHILD RECEIVES HIS
FIRST TOOTH, A WHEAT LIKE DISH WAS PREPARED. THIS DISH WAS
SERVED TO FRIENDS AND RELATIVES. THIS ILLUSTRATED THAT
THE CHILD WOULD BE EATING SOLID FOODS IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
Submitter comment: THIS WAS DONE DURING THE YEARS 1929-1936.
