CUSTOM OF KEEPING A RECORD OF TEACHER'S ECCENTRIC

DURING AN E 325 STATICS CLASS, TERM I, 1967-68, BEFORE
I TRANSFERRED FROM ENGINEERING TO ACCOUNTING, 5 OF MY
FRIENDS AND I NOTICED THE ECCENTRIC PRONUNCIATIONS
WHICH OUR TEACHER, DR. ALBERT B. KU, USED WHILE
TEACHING. THE HARDER WE LISTENED, THE MORE INTERESTING
THE DEFORMATIONS OF THE WORDS BECAME SO WE DECIDED
TO WRITE THE WORDS DOWN IN A JOURNAL AS WE HEARD
THEM. WE ENTITLED THE JOURNAL "A GUIDE TO UNDERSTANDING
EXACTLY WHAT KU IS SAYING." AFTER THAT SEMESTER, WE
COPIED THE JOURNAL AND SPLIT UP DUE TO TRANSFERS. NOW
WE COLLECT OTHER TEACHERS' ECCENTRIC PRONUNCIATIONS,
AND WHEN WE'RE TOGETHER, WE SWAP ENTRIES.
