QUEENIE

A MAN ENTERING A HOUSE OF ILL REPUTE, TOLD THE MATRON
THAT HE DESIRED A GIRL WHO "COULD REALLY TAKE IT."
SHE REPLIED, "QUEENIE IS JUST THE GIRL YOU WANT; UP THE
STAIRS AND FIRST DOOR ON THE RIGHT." THE MAN WENT
INTO THE ROOM AND FOUND THE GIRL LYING ON THE BED,
STARING AT THE CEILING, WITH CHALK COMING OUT OF
HER NOSE AND EARS. HE WENT DOWN AND TOLD THE MATRON,
WHO SUMMONED HER SERVANTS AND COMMANDED THEM, "TAKE
QUEENIE BACK TO THE MORGUE, SHE'S FULL AGAIN."
