FESTIVAL AFTER EASTER

ON DYNGUS DAY, WHICH WAS THE FOLLOWING DAY AFTER EASTER SUNDAY,
BOYS WOULD SURPRISE GIRLS BY WHIPPING THEM ON THE LEGS WITH THIN

Submitter comment: MY MOTHER TOLD ME THAT SHE ALWAYS HID ON DYNGUS DAY, BUT HER COUSINS
ALWAYS MANAGED TO FIND HER AND WHIP HER.
