IF A PERSON IS ANEMIC HE CAN BE HELPED BY PLACING IRON NAILS INTO AN
APPLE AND LETTING IT SIT FOR AWHILE. AFTER IT HAS SAT, REMOVE THE
NAILS, AND EAT THE APPLE.

Submitter comment: THIS BELIEF HAS SOME TRUTH TO IT. THE IRON FROM THE NAILS REPLACES
THE IRON MISSING FROM THE BLOOD THAT CAUSES A PERSON TO BE ANEMIC.

Where learned: MICHIGAN ; SAINT CLAIR SHORES
