IT IS BELIEVED THAT WHILE ST. LAWRENCE WAS LITERALLY BEING BURNED ON
A RED HOT GRILL FOR HIS CHRISTIAN FAITH, HE SAID TO ONE OF THE
SOLDIERS, WHO WAS WATCHING HIM ROAST, "PLEASE, TURN ME OVER FOR I'M
DONE ON THIS SIDE."
