ILL OMEN
IF A GUEST ENTERED THE DOORWAY OF HIS HOST'S HOME WITH
HIS LEFT FOOT FORWARD, HE WOULD BE COMMITTING AN UNPARDONABLE
OFFENCE, THIS BEING AN ILL OMEN, THEREFORE, THE HOST WOULD PUT
A SERVANT AT THE DOORWAY TO AVOID BEING DONE.
Submitter comment: STILL DONE IN ITALY BY THE WEALTHY.
