THIS BELIEF WAS SEEN AS BAD LUCK BECAUSE IT DEMONSTRATED
A STATE OF INDECISION AND UNCERTAINTY IN WHICH DIRECTION TO
CONTINUE, AND THEREFORE THIS STATE WOULD PRODUCE HAVOC.
