THE NAILS OF A NEWBORN ARE CUT AND PUT INTO A POUCH AND THEN IF
KEPT IN THE POCKET OF THE FATHER'S WILL BRING GOOD LUCK
THE INFORMANT BELIEVED THIS BUT HER HUSBAND DIDN'T SO SHE HAD TO SLIP
IT IN TO HIS BACK POCKET AT NIGHT. SHE DIDN'T SAY IF IT WORKED.
