OUT NEAR A DESERTED FARM HOUSE. WHILE THEY WERE LISTENING TO THE
RADIO THE NEWS FLASH ANNOUNCED THAT A DESPERATE KILLER HAD ESCAPED
FROM A NEARBY PENITENTIARY. ONE OF THE ITEMS IN HIS DESCRIPTION WAS
THAT HE HAD A HOOK FOR A RIGHT HAND. THE GIRL GOT SCARED AND THEY
LEFT FOR HOME. WHEN THE BOY WENT TO LET THE GIRL OUT AT HOME HE
FOUND THE HOOK ON THE DOOR HANDLE.
