I HAD ALWAYS HEARD THIS AS A CHILD, AND READ IN AN ETIQUETTE BOOK
JUST RECENTLY THAT ANY CONSIDERATE HOSTESS WOULD AVOID HAVING 13 AT
THE TABLE TO ELIMINATE ANY UNEASINESS AMONGST HER GUESTS.
