PREPARATION OF FOOD (ITALIAN)
WHENEVER A CUCUMBER IS CUT OR PEELED THE END MUST BE CUT OFF FIRST,
THE CUT END IS THEN RUBBED AGAINST THE AREA IT WAS JUST CUT FROM.
THIS TAKES THE "POISON" OUT OF THE CUCUMBER.
