I GOT A GAL AND SHE IS A DAISY
SHE DRIVES THE GUYS IN THIS WORLD PLUMB CRAZY

WITH HER DEE AH DEE UM DUM, DEE AH DEE UM DUM, DEEEE.

I TOOK MY GAL INTO THE BIG CITY
I BOUGHT HER RINGS AND THINGS TO MAKE HER PRETTY
WITH HER FIGHTIN AND FLIRTIN SHE DON'T CARE WHO SHE'S HURTIN
YOU CAN SAY WHAT YOU WANNA BOUT MY LITTLE GIRL
CAUSE I'M GONNA LEAVE HER ANYWAY
WITH HER DEE AH DEE UM DUM, DEE AH DEE UM DUM, DEEEE.

Submitter comment:

THIS SONG WAS LEARNED BY BETSY NORTON FROM A FELLOW COUNSELOR,
WHOSE NAME SHE DOES NOT REMEMBER, AT C.Y.O. SUMMER CAMP FOR GIRLS
IN CARSONVILLE , MICHIGAN. IT HAS NEVER BEEN PUBLISHED TO THEIR
KNOWLEDGE. THE SONG HAS GANED SOME POPULARITY IN THE U-D CAMPUS
AND WAS PERFORMED BY BETSY AND A GROUP
OF GIRLS AS A CAMPUS HOOTENANNY
ON JANUARY 10, 1964.
SCORNFUL SONG CONCERNING PARTING.
