IT REFERRED TO THE FACT THAT YEARS AGO SETTLEMENTS ON THE
SALT RIVER, WHICH EMPTIES INTO THE OHIO (RIVER) SOUTH OF
LOUISVILLE, WERE CONSIDERED ABOUT AS FAR OUT OF THE WAY AS
