BIRTHDAY TRADITION

WHENEVER THEY WERE IN THE IRON MOUNTAIN REGION, WHERE
THEY VACATION, THEY WOULD CELEBRATE THE CHILDRENS'
BIRTHDAYS WITH A TREASURE HUNT. THE FATHER WOULD MAKE
UP THE TREASURE HUNT AND SEND ALL OF THE KIDS AT THE
PARTY IN SEARCH FOR THE TREASURE. IT USUALLY COVERED
LOTS OF TERRITORY. CLUES HAD TO BE DUG UP, SWUM FOR, OR
RIDDLED TO GET THE FINAL CLUE. THE TREASURE WAS USUALLY
A LARGE TIN OF CANDY.
