ON CHRISTMAS EVE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA, A SLOVAK FAMOLY WOULD RUN TO
THE WELL. THERE THEY WOULD WASH THEIR HANDS AND FACE WITH WELL
WATER. THEY WOULD RUN BACK TO THE HOUSE AND THEN WIPE AWAY THE
WATER. THIS WAS DONE BEFORE CHRISTMAS EVE SUPPER.
