THE LANDLORDS WOULD GO VISITING AS THEY DELIVERED THE BOXES.
THE CUSTOM HAS DIED DOWN AND IS NOW USUALLY CARRIED OUT BY GIVING
MONEY TO MAIDS THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS.
